please send me a card.

please send me a card.
postcards always spoil my holiday. last summer, i went to italy. i visited museums and sat in the public garden. a friendly writer taught me a few words of italian. then lent me a book. i read  a few lines, but i didn't understand a word.
every day, i though about postcards. my holidays passed quickly. but i did not send any cards to my friends. one the last day, i made a big decision. i got up early and bought thirty-even cards. i spent the whole day in my room, but i did not write a single card.

kirimkan saya kartu.

other than or rather than?

other than or rather than?

'Rather than' means in preference.
I bring my lunch from home rather than buying it from the cafe.

'Other than' means except for.
Other than the exhaust, the car is in good condition.

unlike or dislike?

unlike or dislike?

You use ‘un-‘ with the ‘like’ that means similar to to make it mean 'not like'.
She looks unlike her sister.

But you use ‘dis-‘ with the ‘like’ that means to enjoy to make it mean 'not like'.
I dislike grammar lessons.
